As you enter the warm and
friendly gathering room, you'll be offered a beverage and if you're timing's right, a
freshly baked homemade treat right from the oven. |
When evening rolls around I'll be happy to help you choose a place to dine
from the many fine restaurants in the area. I have made it my goal to eat at all of the
restaurants on the Cape so I can give you an educated opinion. I figure it's worth the
sacrifice for the pleasure of my guests!
When you return from dinner, you can choose to relax in the gathering room or enjoy the
comforts of your private quarters. For your convenience every room has a hairdryer, iron
and complimentary amenities.
After a good nights sleep, you'll be awaked by delicious aromas from the
kitchen.
Once the smell of freshly ground coffee drags you downstairs, the best part of your stay is yet to come. You'll be seated either at the big, family style dining room table or if the weather cooperates, outside on the deck overlooking the flower and herb gardens. Breakfast begins with juice, fruit and freshly baked breads, muffins, or coffeecake. Once that's been sampled, the entree is served. It could be anything, stuffed french toast, waffles with fresh fruit topping, crepes, omelet's, frittata, or quiche, the possibilities are endless and all delicious. I guarantee, you will not walk away from the table hungry.
With the whole day ahead of you, you can discover all of the great adventures Cape Cod has to offer. The Acworth Inn is located in the heart of the Mid-Cape and a perfect central location for exploring in any direction. |

If you want to avoid the busy season, the Cape is magical in the winter time. Depending on the weather, you may be able to fit in a winter round of golf or maybe if you're lucky, we might get a little snow and you can take a walk in a winter wonderland. Or, you can always just stay inside and snuggle up in front of one of the fireplaces with a nice hot cup of cocoa or if you have one of the rooms with a whirlpool tub, you can have a long relaxing soak.
