The Farmers' Guest House in Galena, Illinois was built in 1867 and operated as a bakery, store and hotel. This handsome Italianate-style building in was a favorite overnight stop for area farmers bringing goods to market, as well as a gathering place for local folk.

You can relax and read in our Heritage Library, listen to music or watch a movie on surround TV in our living room and meet the other guests in the house at the bar, (which was briefly featured in the movie Field of Dreams) in our dining room during complimentary wine and cheese at 6:00pm. If you are the outdoor type, summer or winter, you can relax in our outdoor hot tub in the backyard.
